A large number of on-site investigations have shown that the risk of coal seams varies greatly with the thickness of coal seams. In order to study the influence of coal seam thickness on the impact risk, the impact factors that take into account the thickness of the coal seam are analyzed and the corresponding impact risk assessment methods are constructed. According to the influence of the coal seam thickness on the stress distribution of roadway surrounding rock, different coal seam thickness roadways are established. The stress distribution model of surrounding rock shows the following main conclusions: (1) Based on the range of surrounding rock caused by roadway excavation, a stress distribution model of roadway surrounding rock is established, and the influence of coal seam thickness on impact risk is analyzed; (2) Proposed The impact risk assessment method based on the equivalent surrounding rock strength and coal seam impact tendency provides a new method for impact risk assessment; (3) The impact risk assessment of a mine 3500 mining area shows that Without considering the impact risk evaluation results of coal seam thickness, the impact risk assessment results considering coal seam thickness are more in line with the actual situation in the field. Therefore, considering the method of evaluating the impact risk of coal seam thickness, it is of great significance to evaluate the impact risk of coal seam.
