Study on the law of gas production during coal heating oxidation

Taking the coal samples of different kinds of coal as the research object, the temperature programmed oxidation experiment was carried out, and the gas produced by the coal samples at different temperatures was collected and analyzed by gas chromatography. The variation characteristics of gas species and gas concentration in different coal samples during heating oxidation were studied. The experimental results showed that different coal samples produced different kinds of gases in the process of heating and oxidation. The order of gas production was CO, C2H6, C2H4, C3H8, and the gas production quantity and temperature were approximately exponential. With the increase of coal metamorphic degree, the inflection point temperature of coal sample gas production rate rised sharply, and the oxidation ability of coal sample decreased, but the amount of coal sample gas production decreased in the same time period.
