大学英语教学中英美儿童文学作品听读输入的探索研究Research on the Listening and Reading of English and American Children's Literature in College English Teaching

英美儿童文学作品因其生动有趣、浅显易懂的文化内涵特质已被广泛应用到我国小、初、高的语文和英语教学中。但大学英语教学对其应用却鲜有涉猎。本文基于大学新生入学的词汇量测试数据统计及教材的相对学习数量和质量问题，从其必然性、必要性和实操性三方面论述大学英语教学中引入英美儿童文学作品的重要性。发现引入英美优秀的近现代儿童文学作品符合我国大部分高校大学新生的整体词汇量水平，其语言文化魅力更能激发学生对作品的聆听和阅读兴趣。实操过程中进一步证实英美儿童文学作品的词汇高频重复特性，长篇语境功能，文化以及优质朗读者的语音魅力不仅可以进一步提高大学生语音辨识能力，解决词汇遗忘问题，还可进一步培养学生语篇理解，跨文化交际等综合能力，从而与规定教材形成互补关系，有效提升大学英语的教学质量。English and American children’s literature has been applied to the Chinese and English teaching in Chinese primary and middle schools for its easy, vivid and interesting feature and deep cultural connotation, but the application to the college English teaching is rare. The paper makes an attempt to discuss and study on the application of English and American children’s literature in college English teaching based on its practical problems in terms of the uneven level’s vocabulary of students and quantity and quality of articles required to learn from teaching materials. It has been proved that the vocabulary of these works is more suitable for our basic English learning in University and students have much more interest in listening and reading of these works. During the listening and reading processing, the literature's advantages can not only improve students’ ability of distinguishing words, memorizing words, but also cultivate students’ discourse comprehension and intercultural communicative competence. Playing a complementary and promoting role for the teaching materials, the listening and reading input of English and America literature is beneficial to college English teaching.
