Research on the ESP Teaching of Flight Attendant Specialty from the Perspective of Intercultural Communication

Teaching activity is the most important part of the talent cultivation of a college. Inter-cultural communication is the basic vocational requirement for the students of Flight Attendant Specialty on the background of globalization and the rapid development of the civil aviation industry. How to improve the students’ inter-cultural communication ability has become the main task of the teaching work of a ESP teacher of the Flight Attendant Specialty. This thesis mainly analyze the background and present situation of the talent cultivation of the Cabin Crew Specialty; Then discuss the necessity of combine the educational idea of inter-cultural communication with the ESP teaching activity of the Flight Attendant in order to eliminate the negative mood of the students and improve the teaching validity and the quality of talent cultivation.
