With information technology increasingly integrated with English teaching, blended ESP teaching arouses more attention and requires careful design. Currently, blended ESP teaching is still not applied widely and study on effective ESP teaching model based on blended teaching environment needs deepening. In this paper, Tourism English flipped classroom model based on the blended environment in a higher vocational college in China is taken as a case for study. The course goals and objectives are established with regard to needs analysis of students. Next, based on information technology, teaching resources are developed, task-based and case-based teaching approaches are employed, teaching activities with regard to group work are carried out, and formative evaluation are completed. Finally, the ESP flipped classroom based on blended teaching environment is constructed, of which the outcome proves to be effective. It is hoped that the research of Tourism English flipped classroom model based on the blended environment in this paper, the related theories and the corresponding practice, will offer reference to blended ESP teaching in the wider context.
