Summary: College students' comprehensive English application ability is the comprehensive embodiment of language knowledge, application skills, autonomous learning ability and cross-cultural communication ability. Professional Communicative Science is based on the ESP common core theory and the communicative approach syllabus. It focuses on the general rules and skills that different majors should follow in communication. It solves the positioning problem of ESP teaching and introduces the cultural accomplishment, rhetoric skills and document design skills involved in professional communication into teaching. The relationship between ESP and bilingual teaching of basic English and specialized courses is clarified.
