Abstract—For photovoltaic power generation systems, the traditional maximum power point tracking(MPPT)control algorithm has the disadvantages of poor stability and inability to accurately track the maximum power. Therefore, this paper proposes a kind of nonlinear control-backstepping method based on Lyapunov function and fuzzy control to achieve MPPT. This method designs a backstepping controller for the system, and using fuzzy control to obtain the reference voltage of the photovoltaic in the backstepping controller. The topology circuit of the system consists of a photovoltaic panel, a boost circuit, and a load. It’s shown by simulation experiments that the control strategy can effectively reduce the oscillation problem of the photovoltaic power system at the maximum power, alleviate the impact on electronic components in the circuit, and the robustness is stronger.
