Relativistic jets ubiquitously exist in the Universe and contain abundant physics interacting with the ambient environment, such as active galactic nucleus in intense star formation, tidal disruption events among accretion disc and rotational compact objects of X-Ray Binaries. The radiation during their transport provides an important window for us to study high-energy astrophysics. As the relativistic jet interacts with the ambient plasma, nonlinear collective effects (such as Weibel instabilities, magnetic field generation & reconnection, and particle accelerations in collisionless shocks) become crucial for the energy exchanging between the jet and the environment, where generally kinetic treatment is required. In this talk, we will introduce our recent kinetic particle-in-cell simulation of relativistic jets transport in the ambient environment, including the jet composition, ambient magnetic field and quantum electrodynamics effects on particle acceleration, density distribution, and energy transport, etc.
