The ash melting behavior were studied in a 20kW lab-scale cyclone combustion equipment in this study. The experiment results show that the temperature in cyclone burner is the most important parameter. When the temperature is lower than 13000C, the deposit ash particles in cyclone are mainly existed as solid particle, and they are beginning to be melted when the temperature is above 1300~14000C. The content of SiO2, Fe2O3, Na2O in slag is enriched as comparing with the laboratory ash content, which is ashed at 8150C in a muffle furnace. The molten slag can react with Na, K elements to form some low melting Na/K-bearing minerals and be tapped from the bottom of furnace.
