Study on Kinetic Model of NH3-denitration Overall Reaction

The NH3 denitration efficiency is affected by both chemical reaction kinetics and gas flow mixing. In order to be convenient for engineering application, a kinetic model of overall reaction based on the comparison with detailed mechanism model was established. Six kinetic parameters were optimized by using a genetic algorithm in a larger solution domain. The outlet concentrations of NO and NH3 calculated by the overall reaction well agreed the results by the detailed reactions within a range of 1100K-1400K. It showed that the overall reaction with the new kinetic parameters could describe the progress of the denitration reaction and using the genetic algorithm to global optimizing is feasible.
