Based on the characteristics of highly networked intelligent substation, a protection scheme of station domain based on logical value is propose in this paper. Firstly, the transformer is taken as the center to establish the station protection area, and the corresponding action plan is designed according to the possible faults in the station. Then, the matching criterion between logic value and fault condition is established according to the logic information of the station, such as the direction, action and type of protection. When a fault occurs, the fault state is determined quickly by logic criterion, the fault area is identified, and the reliability test is carried out through the distribution of logical values. When different faults, signal transmission errors and rejection occur in the station domain, the fault can be located and isolated selectively and quickly through the coordination of logic quantities in the protection station domain.
