The model briefly introduces the working principle of 12-phase multi-overlap plus inverters for linear phase-shifting transformer, analyses the asymmetry of the transformer due to the particularity of its physical structure, and puts forward the solution. In addition, it establishes the mathematical model of the inverter and deduces the calculation formula of the relevant parameters, and simulates the inverting process with MATLAB and ANSYS. The simulation results show that the new 12-phase multi-overlap plus inverters can effectively reduce the output harmonics and improve the output performance of the inverters.
