In order to provide microgrid tie-line power smoothing services and achieve sufficient accommodation of renewable energy, this paper proposes an optimal dispatch model by coordinating the water-loop heat pump (WLHP) load and battery storage. In the proposed dispatch model, the characteristic of WLHP, i.e., its electro-thermal energy conversion process, is firstly established, and an improved priority-list method is proposed to ensure the customer comfort and load diversity. A microgrid test system with renewable generator, WLHP and battery storage included is used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed optimization model.
