A scheme of restraining transformer inrush current is proposed based on integrated control of voltage amplitude and closing angle. In this scheme, the flux does not exceed the saturation flux during the whole process of transformer no-load closing. Considering the different remanence of the transformer, the control strategy and tuning method of the key parameters and closing angle of the voltage amplitude control function are analyzed. The three-phase transformer no-load closing model is built to simulate the method proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the proposed method can be applied to various no-load closing occasions and has better magnetizing inrush current restraining effect.
