Photonic crystal topological insulators provide an excellent platform for the realization of on-chip light-field modulation and information processing, due to the unique properties of photonic topological states. In this talk, we will introduce the recent research progress in photonic crystal chips for information processing applications. We also realized several silicon-based photonic neural network chips. Several logic operations and mathematical calculation functions were realized, including all-optical logic computing, solving the transcendental equation, and solve the matrix eigenvalues.
