To explore the effect of hands motion imagination on brain plasticity to guide the use of robotic arms by disabled people, this paper designs a comparison experiment between disabled and normal people, and collected 4 subjects (2 disabled males who lost their right hand, 2 normal males) EEG data for five weeks of training, and compared the rhythm characteristics of the collected EEG with brain topographic map. The results show that after training, people with disabilities can produce ERD phenomena in both the μ and β frequency bands, and within a period of a time, the longer the training time, the more obvious the ERD phenomenon. This paper also uses co-space pattern algorithm and support vector machine to extract and classify EEG signals. The classification accuracy rate of disabled people can reach more than 85%, and normal people can reach more than 90%. This paper studies the effects of brain plasticity and provides a neurophysiological basis for the widespread application of motor imaging training in the field of rehabilitation.
