Modification of operation mode of J-TEXT bipolar pulse power supply

At present, there are one set of DC power supply、one set of AC power supply and one set of bipolar pulse power supply which can output high-frequency AC on resonant magnetic perturbation (RMP) of J-TEXT, but there are 8 groups of RMP load coils. In order to make the RMP load coils have more abundant wiring modes, thus produce more kinds of magnetic field configuration and larger current to meet the requirements of J-TEXT physical experiments, this paper proposes a control system based on FPGA technology, which upgrades the bipolar pulse power supply to a power supply that can operate in DC mode and the output current can be reversed in one shot. Besides, the control strategy, protection, real-time detection and waveform display can meet the requirements. Finally, performance of this control system is tested on Bipolar Pulse power supply.
