Preparation and properties of nano-alumina/epoxy composite coatings

  In recent years, more and more metal materials are used to develop marine resources. However, due to the particularity of the marine environment, the problem of metal corrosion has become very serious. Therefore, organic coatings are the most widely used to protect steel structure materials. In this presentation, nano-alumina (Al2O3) and graphene oxide (GO) were modified by silane coupling agent (KH-550). The nano-alumina/epoxy composite coatings were prepared by Scraping stick method. The dispersion and Rheological Properties of the nano-alumina/epoxy composite were studied, and at the same time, mechanical properties, wear and corrosion resistance of the composite coatings were further investigated.  The experimental results would be present in the conference.
