The status quo of English grammar learning in a rural junior high school in China

This article investigates the English grammar learning situation in a rural junior high school. A questionnaire is designed to explore students’ perspectives on the difficulty levels of certain English grammar structures and the type of tasks they use to enhance their learning. The results indicate that students are aware of the importance of learning grammar, but they find the types of tasks they do are not very helpful.
