Airborne distributed transfer alignment based on FBG

As an important means of military mapping and natural disaster investigation, airborne earth observation technology has developed rapidly. Load array technology is an effective measure to improve the imaging resolution, and the distributed position and orientation system is needed to provide high-precision motion information for array load. In this paper, the distributed transfer alignment method based on FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) is studied. In this method, the wing bending deformation model based on FBG is established to solve the inaccuracy problem of transfer alignment caused by wing deformation. Based on that, the "attitude + velocity" transfer alignment model is re-established. The experiment results show that the surface-bonded FBG monitor the wing bending deformation effectively, and the proposed method can improve the accuracy of transfer alignment. Compared with the traditional method, the proposed method can improve the pitch, roll, and heading accuracy of sub-node by 0.0078° (5.48%), 0.0457° (25.30%), and 0.0317° (23.52%), respectively.
