with the continuous rise of summer weather temperature and power load, some transformers operate under heavy load or even overload, which has an impact on the safe and stable operation of power grid. This paper makes statistics on 220 kV and above heavy load transformers (load rate 80% and above) in Zhejiang Province during summer, analyzes the possible causes of transformer heavy load, and puts forward the follow-up operation and maintenance strategy.
