摘要
This paper proposes a novel bi-directional multi-path push-pull DC-DC converter for energy storage system (ESS). Stacked converter (SC) is one of the typical partial power processing (PPP) converter. Based on the SC, Multi-path converter (MPC) is considered as a higher efficiency converter. In this paper, an efficiency derivation is shown, which proves the multi-path converter has a higher efficiency compared with the stacked converter. Then, the bi-directional multi-path push-pull converter is analyzed in working principle, voltage gain and voltage stress. Finally, the simulation is built to verify the proposed converter. The result shows good feasibility and high efficiency.
