摘要
The estimation of road friction characteristics is an important factor of traffic accident reconstruction. To improve the accuracy of estimating the friction characteristics of wet pavement, this paper proposed a method based on braking deceleration. By the using of the MBK-01 braking tester and vehicle dynamics equipment, the braking tests are conducted in vehicle proving ground. The experiment was tested on six pavements in wet and dry conditions. The relationship model of friction characteristics was established by analyzing the difference of friction characteristics between dry and wet pavements. In the actual car to pedestrian crash analysis, the model is applied to calculate the impact speed. The result shows that the model improves the calculation accuracy of the vehicle speed analysis and provides great significance for the vehicle speed analysis in a person-vehicle crash.
