摘要
The control grid is an important part of the electron curtain accelerator, and its structure and parameters seriously affect the trajectory of the electron beam, which in turn has a certain impact on the beam uniformity and transmission efficiency. In this paper, the transverse electron curtain accelerator model is established, the electron beam trajectory is simulated by CST particle studio, the beam loss in the transmission process is analyzed, and the effects of the control grid structure and parameters of the electron curtain accelerator on the beam uniformity and transmission efficiency are studied. The results show that the overall effect of hexagonal mesh array control grid is better;When the control grid voltage is 100V, the diameter of the hexagonal inscribed circle of the control grid mesh is 4mm, and the distance between the control grid and the center of the reflector is 3.5mm, the beam uniformity and beam transmission efficiency are 94.84% and 0.722 respectively. While the uniformity can meet industrial application standards, it can also maintain a good beam transmission efficiency. The research results of this paper will provide reference and theoretical basis for the design and optimization of electron curtain accelerator.
