Purpose/Aim

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) can achieve in situ detection of furfural. Therefore, we constructed a highly sensitive AgNPs@MOS2 intercalation structure based on Cu foil-loaded few-layer graphene, and realized the SERS detection of furfural dissolved in transformer oil.

Experimental/Modeling methods

The flow chart of matrix preparation is shown in Fig. 1. Cu-Gr@AgNPs@MOS2 intercalation structure was synthesised of by chemical reduction.

Results/discussion

Cu-Gr@AgNPs@MOS2 substrate was used to detect furfural-transformer oil solutions of different concentrations, the lowest detection limit was 9 mg/L, and the RSD was 7.57% (Fig. 2.).
