摘要
Purpose/Aim
In order to reduce the energy loss of overhead ground wires, common ground wire (CGW) in China usually is generally insulated with one point grounded. The optical
fiber composite ground wire (OPGW) is often grounded at each tower. When CGW is insulated with one point grounded, the ground wire will produce a high induced voltage. When OPGW is often grounded at each tower, the ground wire will produce a large amount of energy loss, and will cause abnormal heat to the ground wire and other disadvantages, these problems should be continuously concerned. There are many researches on overhead double circuit transmission lines in China, but few researches on single-circuit transmission lines. Therefore, it is necessary to study the grounding mode and segment distance of single circuit transmission lines.
Experimental/Modeling methods
EMTP simulation software is used to simulate different grounding modes of 1000kV transmission line overhead ground wire, and compared with theoretical calculation to determine the accuracy of the model.
Results/discussion
By comparing the simulation and theoretical calculation, the established simulation model can be confirmed to be credible, and the appropriate segment distance can be obtained when the induced voltage of ground wire is less than 1000kV.
Conclusions
In this study, a better grounding mode, appropriate segment distance and transposition mode of overhead ground wire can be obtained, which can provide a reference for practical engineering applications.
