With the development of the times, a large number of super tall buildings such as office buildings and buildings with abnormal shapes such as landmark buildings in various places have been built. Building measurement helps people to deepen their understanding of the building, survey large area of buildings and draw relevant thematic maps, which helps people to master regional development and make relevant planning decisions more efficiently. It can also contribute to the construction of 3D China. The traditional single point measurement is not conducive to the comprehensive measurement of buildings in a large area. People need more efficient and convenient measurement means for building measurement, and 3d laser scanner comes into being.
Taking the campus building of Yellow River Conservancy Institute as an example, this paper introduces the application of 3D laser scanner in building measurement in detail, which is embodied in the following points:
(1) Firstly, the research background and significance of this paper are introduced, and then the development status of 3D laser scanning technology at home and abroad is described. This paper introduces different types of 3D laser scanner, introduces their working principle, which working environment is suitable for them, and explains their characteristics.
(2) Take the campus buildings of Yellow River Conservancy Institute as the research object, scientifically and reasonably determine the distribution of survey stations through field survey, and then formulate the scanning work plan according to the actual situation. According to the scanning scheme, a suitable type of 3D laser scanner is selected to collect point cloud data and image data.
(3) Pre-processing such as splicing and registration of the collected point cloud data through relevant software. On the basis of preprocessing, the point cloud is denoised, simplified and segmented, and then the point cloud data is exported in the corresponding format. The exported point cloud is encapsulated to obtain the corresponding point cloud model, and then the realistic model is constructed based on the images taken. The accuracy and error of buildings measured by 3d laser scanner are analyzed by comparing the size and length of the actual measured feature with the size and length of the feature in point cloud.
(4) Describe the application of point cloud model and import the point cloud model into CAD to draw the side view and elevation view of the building. It also introduces the construction of 3D model with 3D Max software.
(5) On this basis, the paper summarizes the whole paper and lists the corresponding problems in order to find better solutions in the future research.
