Coulomb logarithm for temperature relaxation in hot DT plasmas by binary collision

By binary collision between electron and ions with Debye potential, the temperature relaxation in hot DT plasmas is studied and corresponding Coulomb logarithm is obtained. In the research both partial wave method and the first order Born approximation are used, and it is found that the result for Coulomb logarithm can be determined by the Born approximation, which reason is explained. Thus obtained Coulomb logarithm is found the same as that from the coupled model described by quantum Balescu equation with some approximations, which was first suggested by Wardana [1] where the influence of ion temperature upon the logarithm was neglected. Our model is found consistent with BPS [2], coupled model [3] and the results by some MD simulation [4] if the influence of ion temperature upon the logarithm was neglected. More ever, it is also found that better consistent with new MD simulation [5] if the influence of ion temperature upon the logarithm was included. By the way a revision of the Landau-Spitzer model is suggested which was found close to our model when the plasma temperature is high enough.
