The national carbon market is an important policy tool for the implementation of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and the carbon market is not only a "baton" to promote the green transformation of high-emission enterprises, but also to promote enterprises to explore new ways of green development of energy conservation and emission reduction. This paper reviews the literature and reports on China's carbon trading market, and finds that China's carbon market still faces many problems and challenges in its construction and management, such as the single type of trading entity, mainly concentrated in the power sector; the trading products are relatively simple, and currently only carbon allowances are spot. Therefore, this paper classifies the policy suggestions mentioned in the previous literature research into three aspects: the policy mechanism level, the enterprise level and the industry association level, and puts forward relevant policy suggestions for their shortcomings. Finally, this paper expounds the future development prospects of China's carbon trading market, and puts forward suggestions for the early introduction of relevant management regulations, expanding the coverage of the national carbon market, and promoting the development of climate investment and financing and carbon finance. The improvement of the carbon market policy mechanism is conducive to achieving China's climate change and low-carbon development goals, and achieving high-quality development.
