Individual plankton are small, have strong vitality, and reproduce fast. They are very sensitive to the changes of environmental factors, have a good indicator effect, and can indirectly reflect the ecological succession and other ecological processes of the river ecosystem. In order to explore  the Water Transfer Project from Yangtze River to Hanjiang River section of water quality change, to lead the Yin Jiang Ji Han section for the research area, in June 2023 to June 2024 in the study section set up eight sampling points, using the phytoplankton analysis system of phytoplankton community structure characteristics are analyzed, combined with the water quality analysis and phytoplankton community characteristics of the Yin Jiang Ji Han section of water ecological environment has carried on the comprehensive evaluation. The study found that the population structure of phytoplankton in the research water is relatively rich, especially in spring, the phytoplankton density level is relatively high, which is conducive to the growth and survival of young fish stage. This paper aims to obtain the dynamic characteristics of phytoplankton community structure through the investigation and analysis of phytoplankton in research waters, and provide data support for resource protection, channel scheduling and healthy and sustainable development of water environment in this basin.
