摘要
With the arrival of the new energy and smart grid era, the shortage of lithium resources will eventually become an important factor restricting their development. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a novel energy storage battery system with excellent comprehensive performance. Due to the similar chemical properties of sodium and lithium, sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) are considered a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) in large-scale energy storage applications. This paper establishes an isothermal pseudo two-dimensional (P2D) model and prediction model of NVPF/HC based Tiamat SIB to study the rate performance by multiple-rate constant current/voltage charging and constant current discharge conditions. The results show that Tiamat SIBs not only have excellent charging-discharging rate performance, but also can provide over 80% relative energy and over 90% relative capacity while discharging at high rates. Under the comparison of the prediction results for the high-rate performance of SIBs, VMD-LSTM-SSA algorithm adopted in this paper can better avoid the impact of chemical reactions ignored in the simulation, modify or replace inaccurate data, and improve the precision and accuracy of the simulation results. This paper can support further exploration of SIB based on NVPF/HC and enhancing its competitiveness in power applications.
