Aiming at the problem of zero-sequence current produced by dual inverter with common DC link as this configuration system is the presence of high zero-sequence voltage, stressing the operation efficiency and stability of the OW-PMSM. So in this paper, two methods about zero-sequence currents suppression was proposed by using vector control and model predictive control (MPC) methods. First, based on vector control, a zero-sequence current suppression method based on proportional resonance (PR) controller is proposed, which controls the zero-sequence component of the output voltage of the inverter through the design of the zero-sequence current closed-loop control system. Then, another zero-sequence current suppression model is designed based on the model predictive control by selecting zero common-mode voltage, and the suppression effect is compared with the first method. Finally, simulation and experimental results are given to verify the correctness and validity of the proposed methods.
