This paper proposes a novel nonlinear integral sliding mode observer (NNI-SMO)-based model-free current predictive control method for dual three-phase Permanent magnet synchronous motor (DT-PMSM). The NNI-SMO is designed based on Lyapunov stability theory to ensure the stability of the proposed method. In addition, this paper analyzes and compares the NNI-SMO method with conventional deadbeat predictive current control and standard ISMO methods. The results demonstrate that the proposed NNI-SMO effectively eliminates high-frequency harmonic disturbances without relying on inverter nonlinearity information. Moreover, the NNI-SMO significantly reduces torque ripple and mitigates current distortion caused by inverter nonlinearity and system disturbances. Finally, simulation results validate the robustness of the proposed method, highlighting its effectiveness in reducing torque ripple and suppressing harmonic disturbances.
