The application of metagenomic sequencing methods for detecting and analyzing influenza virus species in beef cattle and zoonotic diseases in Xinjiang region allows for the confirmation of epidemic disease types among beef cattle. At the same time, it facilitates the detection of virus sources, transmission modes, and targets, thereby enabling timely prevention of epidemic diseases and early warning of zoonotic diseases. Moreover, this project can effectively detect complex genomes and has significant advantages in monitoring virus genetic variation.
