Facing the difficult problem of carrier-based aircraft landing in multi-scenarios and a complex environment, a longitudinal automatic landing control method for carrier-based aircraft based on incremental nonlinear dynamic inverse and L1 nonlinear guidance law is proposed. A carrier-based aircraft dynamics model, a ground effect model, a ship wake turbulence model and a deck motion model are established, L1 nonlinear guidance law is designed to generate longitudinal acceleration commands, pitch angle commands are derived through gravity compensation, and the attitude loop is designed to generate angular velocity commands by using the nonlinear dynamic inverse control method, which is inputted into the incremental dynamic inverse-based angular acceleration controller. The simulation results show that the designed automatic landing control method can mitigate the interference from complex sea states and improve the robustness and safety of the landing.
