In the complex and safety-critical field of spent fuel reprocessing, the reliability of the safety-level control system is critical. This paper analyzes the reliability of the safety level control system of the spent fuel reprocessing plant. The system realizes its function through relay logic. The method of selecting parameters such as the number of actions and the frequency of actions is systematically described in the paper. The reliability theory is utilized to derive the formulas, and the system reliability is evaluated by calculating the failure to operate rate and misopration rate of the pneumatic valve and dual-control motor systems. The analysis results show that the refusal rate and the number of false starts of the system can meet the requirements set in the technical specifications, and the reliability of the system reaches more than 99.999%. The result not only verifies the reliability of the safety level control system, but also provides a reference for the reliability analysis of similar systems in the future.
