    In order to make better use of qualitative knowledge and quantitative data to predict aero-engine performance degradation, a cloud belief rule base (CBRB) prediction model is proposed. Traditional belief rule base model can effectively deal with uncertain quantitative data, but the description of expert knowledge is not accurate enough. The proposed CBRB model uses a cloud model to describe the reference points of belief rules, which can more accurately and objectively describe qualitative knowledge. At the same time, in order to predict the aero-engine performance degradation under both single and variable working conditions, comparative experiments are designed by using CBRB model and other models in this paper. The results show that the CBRB model has certain practical value, and achieves higher forecasting accuracy compared to other models.
