Towards Developing An Intelligent Hajj Guide System

we apply the Internet and smart phone technologies to develop the Hajj application for users. The target users of this application are the Hajj pilgrims. This application provides a step-by-step guide to performing Hajj; starting from preparation at home up until the pilgrimage is completed. The application was developed on the Android platform, This paper tries to introduce simple solution that might be used to minimize pilgrims’ need to somebody else to help them. Then the challenge is how to provide portable, tri-language, easy to use and rich of multimedia that illustrates the practices to pilgrims and facilitates their interaction with local people - Arabic native and others around. Moreover, in this research we investigated what is the best way to deliver knowledge in easiest way even illiterate people are considered. The proposal uses three languages: Arabic, English and user’s native language. English is used because it is the most common spoken language in the world, while Arabic is the language that supposed to be used during pilgrimage practices as well as it is the language of the place. In addition, the local language is the language of the interface, currently paper builds system use English language. However; Multilanguage is feasible [1]. This research aims an electronic guideline booklet in three main languages that are preliminary needed by pilgrims in Makkah.
