Abstract In view of water temperature of vacuum pump was not constant and water bath could incapable of adjusting the height at will, we have analyzed the some deficiencies in current rotary evaporator, and then propose improving the measures correspondingly between teachers and students. The cooler and dynamoelectric lifting gear was added to this newly device. The characteristics and strengths of modified device, which is more effective, efficient and perfect, have been illustrated accordingly.
