Study on Complex Network Characteristics of Electric Field in SF6 Circuit Breaker

An effective approach to the research on the interruption performance of high-voltage SF6 circuit breakers, that is, an analysis based on the spatial and temporal characteristics of the electric field and the gas flow field in the arc extinguishing chamber, with the circuit breaker field system of the combined effect of multi-physics coupling, multi factors and multi scales, refers to a complex system with external force and internal nonlinear dissipation. On the basis of previous simulation research on the arc extinguishing system of the circuit breaker, this research, based on the complex network theory, maps the flow field distribution to a network and unfold the relationship among data in the original field through the transformation of complex network topology, describes the evolution rules of various actions in the system by use of the transformational relations among them to conduct the interactions among different physical fields in the arc extinguish chamber under different breaking conditions and obtain the topological characteristics changes in the field. The spatial distribution of a field is an intuitive data distribution, and the analysis on topology of complex network is to research evolution law which cannot be reflected by researching the single point of data from the system level. This research is very challenging and forward-looking, involving interdisciplinary theories and therefore providing a new idea for the key technical problems in the settlement of ultra-high voltage and UHV switch.
