in order to better control fire risk in large public places, the AHP-FCE-RISK MATRIX method was used to evaluate the risk in large public places, integrating the advantages of quantitative evaluation method and qualitative evaluation method. First, the fire risk evaluation index and the multilayer evaluation system in large public places was proposed, according to the accidents in large public places and others’ research. The weighting coefficients of the indexes were calculated using the analytic hierarchy process, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was used to evaluate the accident probability and accident loss, and the risk level in large public place was obtained by using risk matrix. As an example, the risk of a large public place was assessed by the proposed method.
