International Welding/Joining Conference-Korea 2017 (IWJC-Korea 2017) is planned at HICO, Gyeongju, Korea, during April 11 - 14, 2017. On behalf of the organizing committee of IWJC-Korea 2017, it is my great pleasure to invite you to join IWJC-Korea 2017.

Since 2002, IWJC-Korea has been held every five years, and we are confident that this year conference will be more fruitful with the participation of renowned scholars and engineers in the field of welding and joining. The purpose of IWJC-Korea 2017 is to discuss and review the new issues and the technical information related to Welding & Joining technologies. It also has been indeed a fundamental ground for exchanging cutting-edge research outputs within the industry and relevant communities. For this, the Program Committee of the IWJC-Korea 2017 has prepared a great range of the scope of conference. Especially, the conference titled "Challenges in Welding & Joining Technology for Smart Manufacturing" will be prepared with various sub-themes to present cutting-edge researches.
