The Sixth International Conference on Advancement of Development Administration 2017—Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies (the 6 th ICADA 2017—SSIS), hosted by the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), is inviting abstracts of review articles and/or research articles and full papers of review/research articles in social sciences and interdisciplinary studies. The theme of the 6 th ICADA 2017 is “ASEAN and Globalization: Convergence, Harmony, and Connectivity” including academically related issues. The aims of this conference are (1) to bring together international academics, professionals, and undergraduate/graduate students with the general public by providing a stage for the latest research in social sciences and interdisciplinary studies to be presented and discussed and (2) to provide a forum for professionals with practical experience of the social and economic development of developing countries to exchange their views and share their knowledge with leading countries.

“ASEAN and Globalization: Convergence, Harmony, and Connectivity,” as the major theme, has interested those from all sectors, not only public sectors, but also private sectors. The theme refers to the relevance between ASEAN and globalization in all aspects. ASEAN and Globalization, on the basis of connectivity also affects environmental management, society, politics, ways of life, and business as well as global economy in the future, which may lead to convergence and harmony.

Major activities will be organized, including special lecture, academic dialogues, and presentations of faculty members, academics and undergraduate/graduate students. This conference is not only the dissemination of scholarly works, but also the presentation of Thai art/culture to non-Thai participants.
