As a promising Internet-based technical architecture, Internet of Things (IoT) enables convenient and smart communication among a large number of objects. In particular, with the development of wireless network and cloud computing technologies, it is more desirable to collect and process data through IoT systems. Nevertheless, security and privacy issues have severely hindered the wide deployment of IoT, such as personal data confidentiality, personal privacy protection, authentication, secure data sharing, data audit, etc. The 1st International Workshop on Data Security and Privacy in Internet of Things (DSPIoT 2017) aims to seek high quality of papers demonstrating theoretical aspects and practical solutions for security and privacy in IoT. Besides typical research areas in IoT such as security architectures, secure communication protocols, etc, we also encourage submissions on wireless network security and cloud computing security.
Topics of interest include but not limited to:
.IoT security architecture
.Data security in D2D
.Data security in M2M
.Access control and secure data sharing
.Identity and location privacy in IoT
.Data audit
.Provable data possession
.Data forensics
.Data security in cloud computing
.Data security in fog computing
