Every three years, the IAUP celebrates its general assembly in a different part of the world. Each triennial focuses on a specific theme and provides its members with an opportunity to discuss challenges and changes that face higher education worldwide.
We are pleased to announce the XVIII IAUP Triennial Conference will be held during July 5th-8th, 2017 in Vienna, Austria. On behalf of the organising committee, we extend our most sincere invitation and welcome to all attendees of the conference.
In the past, the IAUP triennial conferences have always included a diversity of topics in higher education presented by university presidents from various regions of the world, the heads of many important international organisations, and executives of influential global enterprises. In discussions about topics such as university access, student and faculty mobility, accreditation systems, international exchanges, diversity, cultural differences, and leadership, our conferences have brought together the voices of higher education and established a driving power for the realization of global education.
In 2017 we will be introducing a new dual-conference concept: On the one hand we will be hosting the IAUP Triennial Conference with the main theme Innovation in Education. And on the other hand we will be offering „Young Scientists“ the opportunity to hold their own conference at the same time, in the same town with the main theme: Sustainability
The IAUP Triennial Conference Theme: „Innovation in Education“ embraces the following topics:
The Young Scientist Conference Theme: „Sustainanbility“ comprises the following two tracks:
The conference will be rounded off by a variety of social events and cultural performances by members of the Anton Bruckner University, one of the five Universities for Music, Drama and Dance in Austria.
We invite you to join us for interesting and in-depth discussions at the XVIII IAUP Triennial Conference in Vienna from July 5th – 8th, 2017.
