World Luxury Destinations 2018 conference is the first of its kind to bring industry professionals and researchers from academia together to exchange ideas, share findings, promote innovations and extend the knowledge boundary on luxury tourism.

Many destinations try to attract visitors by giving meaningful experiences from the ordinary to the extra ordinary. In the dimension of travel and destination resources, there are bandwidths of services offering different levels of comfort and enjoyment. One of these is the feel of luxury. A word that is synonymous with opulence, fashionable, fine dining, and exceptional service. The challenges of exacting what constitutes luxury destinations exists and is hoped this conference initiative is a start towards that journey of defining, sharing data, and addressing the challenges as more countries, cities, remote places, businesses and attraction sites join the ranks of high end travel circuits.

This event is specially organized for policy makers, industry practitioners, researchers, career professionals and interested consumersin the luxury segment.

The Scientific Committee encourages the submissions from a wide spectrum that articulates conceptual, theoretical, case studies, applied and empirical findings that contribute to our understanding of luxury destinations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
