We are pleased to announce that the y-BIS 2019 Conference: ISBIS Young Business and Industrial Statisticians Workshop on Recent Advances in Data Science and Business Analytics, sponsored by ISBIS (International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics) and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. This conference will be held by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Findikli Campus, Istanbul, Turkey, from September 25 to 28, 2019. This is the fourth conference arranged by ISBIS/y-BIS where the second one was organized in Istanbul before, 2013 Joint Meeting of Young Business and Industrial Statisticians Meeting.

The y-BIS 2019 aims to introduce the latest developments of Data Science and Business Analytics and bring together graduate students, young researchers, academic staffs and business/industry professionals. The conference will offer opportunities to meet each other and to share scientific and professional experiences as well as short courses, parallel and invited sessions, keynote speakers in academia and business. The keynote and invited speakers will aim to cover the recent advances in data science and business analytics in addition to its some application fields such as artificial intelligence, computer science, finance, human resources industry, marketing, medical science, operational research, etc. Generally, y-BIS 2019 will cover all the research areas of Business and Industrial Statistics.
