The PhD Colloquium on Emerging Domain Innovation and Technology for Society will be held at PES University, Bangalore. PhD EDITS 2022 submission deadline is 25 July 2022.

PhD EDITS– 2022 aims to bring together highly motivated community of PhD scholars to exchange their idea/ongoing work. The platform is very unique in the sense that it provides scholars an opportunity to directly interact one-to-one with industry expert and discuss their problem, process, direction of research. Experts from industry have agreed to be the part of the event and they will be available to discuss in the forum. At the same time; their idea, concept, process can be submitted as extended abstract which will be submitted (on acceptance and presentation in the colloquium) for publication in to IEEE Xplore for possible inclusion.

The colloquium is an initiative by a group of scholars from different institutions, mentored by experts, to accentuate the need for research outreach to a wider scientific community and to the society at large. This one day program aims at bringing PhD scholars and subject experts in a unified forum. The forum provides scholars a unique opportunity to present their research findings and eco-innovative ideas on all aspects of Engineering & Technology in ICT related domains driven by ethics in research and sustainable development for society.

Although, we currently have tracks in the domain of Electronics (including power electronics, power grid/smart grid), Communication and Computer Science and Engineering; but it would be possible to extend in any area of IEEE society interest. The colloquium is IEEE ComSoc Bangalore supported and technically sponsored by IEEE.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS (Submission is through Microsoft CMT)

PhD EDITS is a forum where scholars gather to present research results, share ideas, obtain instant feedback and expand collaboration and networking. This 1 day event includes keynote speeches by distinguished speakers featuring research ethics, methodology and practices; oral and paper sessions extensively reviewed by peers and mentors; and a unique open discussion forum to initiate dialogues with enthusiastic scholars and experienced mentors.

PhD EDITS-2022 invites doctoral students to submit their work, which can be at any stage of the research process (proposal, intermediate or near completion). Contributions from all application areas and topics, directly or indirectly related to a variety of Engineering & Technology in ICT related domains are invited. Two kinds of contributions are invited; extended abstract (2 pages). The first author of each accepted paper is required to register to the colloquium and present the same.
