The Gordon Research Seminar on Craniofacial Morphogenesis and Tissue Regeneration is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The purpose of this meeting is to understand the processes underlying the evolution and formation of the craniofacial complex and how this knowledge can be translated to the clinic. Sessions will focus on regulation, patterning and morphogenesis in craniofacial development, translational research, biomaterials and stem cells. Additionally, poster sessions will allow time for discussion and promote collaboration among the participants. The meeting will include a final session on careers, mentorship and funding lead by scientists at different stages in their academic or alternative careers.
