第七届国际离散元会议(DEM7)将于2016年8月1日至4日在大连理工大学召开。该国际离散元会议于1989年首次召开,目前每三年召开一届。前六届分别于美国Golden(1989)、美国Boston(1992)、美国Santa Fe(2002)、澳大利亚 Brisbane(2007)、英国London(2010)和美国Golden(2013),是目前有关离散元数值方法和工程应用的重要国际会议。
